we had a great dining experience in the new Tsumura. the staff was attentive and accommodating and even helped in celebrating my wife’s birthday by bringing out a cake and singing her a birthday greet. the interiors are amazing and the pricing is very friendly for the excellent quality of the food. thank you! 🎉 we will definitely return many times

Rating their food 3 stars due to steep pricepoint considering that their food tasted on par with some japanese restaurants i've been to but with significantly lower price. Ambiance is I feel like their biggest edge, high-end, premium feels. Service could do better since it was a tad slow and upon entering no one was there to greet us (again the place feels premium so I would assume top-notch detail to customer service). Granted they are still on soft-opening so I'm giving them 4 stars on service.

I’ve been to the old place before, now is even better, cleaner, larger, newer. But now you better get a reservation first. Sushi and sashimi is fresh.

This is the real deal for authentic japanese cuisine. We love the bento with miso soup and the set meals. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and beyond our expectation. We will visit again next time. But please make sure the aircon is working.

The restaurant is located on the second floor of 88 Corporate Center (Google Maps pin and address are inaccurate). You go through the lobby of the building and go up a flight of stairs past the elevators. The ambiance of the restaurant is good, seats are plentiful, the window seats offer a good view of the car traffic below, and there is a Japanese chef. I had dinner here on a Friday night andthe place had surprisingly very few customers. It seemed like less than five tables were occupied (including ours). Food came out pretty quickly and the first impression was that the seafood was quite fresh and the servings (esp. the cuts of fish for the sushi) was large regardless of the price. I had ebi tempura and the nigiri moriawase "aoi" and the quality of the seafood was pretty good as mentioned above. I would comment though that the tempura is not something I would intentionally go here to order. I prefer my tempura batter to be better seasoned or the tempura sauce to be a little more flavorful. Here, the shrimp taste was definitely the focus (you may prefer this). For the sushi, I think in some pieces the rice was not pressed well (one crumbled before I could put it in my mouth). The wasabi is also present but very mild. As someone with duller taste buds (from a life of enjoying spicy foods), I would prefer more wasabi or to have wasabi on the side. However, those who don't eat too much spicy food or are just more sensitive to it will definitely find the amount used sufficient. Kindly note that the menu is extensive so there's definitely something for anyone interested in Japanese food. There was also a free appetizer of some scrambled eggs, ground meat, and ampalaya (bitter gourd). I'm not a fan of bitter gourd but it was done well since it was not super bitter. There was also a free dessert of pineapple and watermelon (not pictured). Fruit was quite sweet and good quality.

Came over for dinner. It is an authentic Japanese restaurant, mainly you can tell because it is filled with Japanese customers :D Place is a bit dark in the evening, so if you want to take photos, make sure your camera has good night mode feature - but we are here for the food. There are so many things on the menu, I couldn't decide! So Iet my friends order. We were so hungry and forgot to actually take more photos when the food arrived. But we like all the food we ordered, they are delicious. Sashimi Bowl, Tempura, Cold Soba, Ramen, Miso Soup, Steak... I particularly liked the potato salad side dish.

Other than Filipino food, the next thing that I love eating is Japanese food. My colleagues brought me to this place for a Christmas dinner last year. Then I brought my special someone to try it out as well. Hihi.. Let me start the review with the things that I would say needs some improvement: 1. Getting to this place is a bit confusing. I was lost even using Google, that's because there isn't any signage. They're located at the 2nd floor so it's tough finding the right building. Or maybe, it's just me haha. 2. It can be crowded, so you better go there earlier so you can be seated at once. 3. Their staff isn't that attentive, so if you need some assistance it takes a while before they'll notice you. On the other hand, 1. Meal wise, it's really worth it. But beware I would say it's pretty expensive though. 2. Their owner is amiable, unlike with staff. In fact, he's faster to accommodate our needs. 3. They've got tons of food selection so you don't have to worry what to eat. I believe you'll definitely find something that suits your taste.

I ordered their deluxe bento box (Php1130) and I was overwhelmed with the amount of food included. The chawanmushi was smooth and savory. Sashimi quality was average but the mushroom beef rolls was so good.
